42nd Annual Meeting of EMHG 2024 Brno - Abstracts submission guidelines

Information on accepted abstracts will be sent within April 2024. Early Rates price of registration is guaranteed for all abstracts presenters.

Submission Conditions
  1. The work in the abstract should be original and relevant for the EMHG 2024 Annual Meeting.
  2. Abstract can only be submitted as MS Word document online via the EMHG 2024 Annual Meeting abstract submission platform within the deadline.
  3. With submitting the abstract authors agree with publication of their work in the form of the EMHG 2024 Annual Meeting booklet.
  4. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to make a formal oral presentation at the upcoming EMHG 2024 Annual Meeting.
Detailed abstract guidelines
  • Language - all abstracts must be written in English.
  • Structure of the abstract should be as follows:
    • Title
    • Authors
    • Affiliations
    • Background
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion and Conclusion
    • References – optional, max. 3
    • Acknowledgements - optional
  • Font - use a standard font like Arial, size 11, when formatting your text.
  • Length - the abstract title is limited to 300 characters and the abstract body should not exceed 2500 characters including spaces. Each table or image inserted in the abstract body counts for 300 characters. Author names and affiliations, references and acknowledgements are not counted in the 2500 characters limit.
  • Pictures - Images, graphs or illustrations in colour are allowed but count as 300 characters in your abstract.
  • Authors - the authors will be published in the same order as submitted. The presenting author will be underlined and will be the contact author. The affiliation of all authors must be entered.
  • ‘Conflict of Interest’ should be declared at the time of abstract submission, and also to the audience at the beginning of the presentation.
  • Ethics committee approval should be declared if applicable.
  • Submit online as an MS Word Document.
